The noodles were delicious, the ambiance was perfect and there was a bonus....
a great boutique shop next door that is connected to the restaurant. You can't
even get good noodles in Chinatown where I live, but DC Noodles had a great chic
feel without the snoot and options for all kinds of noodles that you can't get
bored with. My boyfriend and I had 2 of the Curry noodle options and they were
both to die for. They also had a great wine and drink list....so its a perfect
spot for any time.

Simply Home is simply gone. The U Street establishment, which was part retail
and part (Thai) restaurant, closed after the inauguration so its owners could
rethink the concept. Taking its place are DC Noodles and Stem, which emphasize
inexpensive food and fashion accessories, respectively, over $20 entrees and
home furnishings. While "the economy was a factor" in the switch, co-owner
